We are a non-profit group under IRS rule 501(c)3 that exists for the education of the public. We do not charge for our services, but we do accept donations to help defray our expenses. Our only purpose is to acquaint the public with that period of American history known as "The War Between the States" which raged between 1861 and 1865.
COMPANY PROFILE
We portray primarily Confederate soldiers in the Army of Tennessee in the western theater of the War Between the States. We are a mainstream unit and are a family-friendly group.
We welcome wives and children of the soldiers who dress in period clothing so that when you visit our camp it is like walking back into the 1860's.
We strive for authenticity without being "hardcore" to the extreme. After all, it's just a hobby, and we want to have fun.

RE-ENACTMENTS
We portray Confederate soldiers of the Army of Tennessee in the western theater of the war. When you visit our camp, you will see us living as the soldiers did back then. We boil our coffee, cook our food, light our pipes over a fire just like they did. Sometimes, you can catch a glimpse of one of us reading a newspaper from the wartime era.
LIVING HISTORIES
At Living History encampments, we do not engage in battle, but show how the soldier lived, exhibit what he might have carried, and what his day might have been like in a camp setting. This is a special favorite of school children.
GRAVE MARKER DEDICATIONS
Occasionally, private citizens will ask us to participate in a ceremony placing a marker on the grave of their ancestor who was a Confederate veteran. We gladly do this, and provide a bit of solemn ceremony honoring one who fought for his country.
PARADES
Many towns have heritage festivals, and we like to be there to help the townsfolk remember their Confederate heritage. If combined with a Living History display, there is an opportunity to teach all a little bit of history.
PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS
We are available to speak at schools and civic groups, bringing whatever equipment the host thinks the audience will be interested in. Our goal is to bring to the modern mind a true appreciation of its past.

"Recognizing that it certainly isn't true of all of us, I
would propose that a Southerner is distinguished by a sense
of neighborliness, a garrulous quality, a wish to get together a lot."
